General Information – Residential
Your trash service provides either once weekly residential trash service pick-up for your household only.
Please place your container(s) by the curbside for collection by 6 a.m. to ensure pick-up on any given day. There is one recycling pick-up day per week per neighborhood and all of GBUSA’s customers qualify for the exclusive www.Recyclebank.com Rewards program. With Recyclebank you can earn points every time you recycle. Use those points to shop on Recyclebank.com fore rewards like discounts and deals from national and local business in categories like Food/Beverage, Restaurants, Home office electronics, apparel, gift cards and entertainment.
Yard waste is collected in clear plastic bags (up to 5 free per week). Over 5 bags, the charge is $5 per bag. The clear bags can be purchased at most grocery stores, Lowes and Home Depot.
We offer 96 gallon trash and 96 gallon recycling containers along with 18-gallon recycling to maximize your Recycling efforts.
Limit per Pick Up
The amount of trash you may place out for pick-up is limited to the trash that fits within your cart or carts. Additional carts are available for purchase from GBUSA, Inc. The use of other company’s carts for pick-up is not permitted. After you have received our cart for service, that is the only container acceptable for pick-up by our drivers.
The collection of extra trash from customers (that which does not fit within your cart) is limited to 2 bags per week. Any extra over that amount will be charged $5 per bag. We will make every effort to collect additional trash but this service is not in any way guaranteed.
Bulky Item Pick Up
Bulky item pickups are scheduled for Saturdays. Please call our office to schedule a bulky item pickup at least 48 hours in advance. There is a modest charge per item depending on size and weight.
